Adelmarie Santana (she/her/hers)

Adelmarie Santana is a driven and compassionate graduate student who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others. Currently pursuing her Mental Health Counseling degree at Mercy College, Adelmarie is developing the knowledge, skills, and tools she needs to help people overcome their mental health challenges and achieve their goals.

With her experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, Adelmarie is adept at creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where people can share their thoughts and feelings without fear of stigma or discrimination. She believes that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, regardless of their background, and is committed to promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental illness.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Adelmarie is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to reach a wider audience and better serve the Hispanic community. She is passionate about using her language skills to help Spanish-speaking individuals access mental health resources and support, and she works tirelessly to bridge the language and cultural gaps that can often prevent people from seeking help.
