Anabel Quiroz (she/her/hers)

Anabel Quiroz  is a dedicated Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience in the field. She has worked with children, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds who have suffered from various forms of trauma. Anabel received her Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester and is a National Certified Counselor, demonstrating her commitment to providing the highest level of care to her clients.

Anabel has specialized training in several evidence-based treatment modalities, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. Her expertise in these therapies has allowed her to help clients who have experienced significant trauma, abuse, and violence to heal and overcome their struggles. Anabel’s passion for working with trauma-informed care, domestic and intimate partner violence, and issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident in her work, where she provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for her clients.

In addition to her clinical work, Anabel is also fluent in Spanish, which enables her to provide counseling services to the Spanish-speaking community. Anabel is available for teletherapy, making her accessible to clients who cannot attend in-person sessions. Her empathetic and compassionate approach has helped countless individuals and families lead happier, healthier lives.
