Sabine PaulĀ

Sabine is a passionate mental health professional with a deep commitment to helping others achieve a better quality of life. She brings over five years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field, where she has had the opportunity to work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. She firmly believes that everyone has the ability to make positive changes in their lives, and she is dedicated to empowering her clients to thrive.

To create a supportive and empathetic environment, Sabine draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness interventions. She approaches her work with a deep understanding of the unique challenges that each client may face, and tailors her approach to meet their individual needs.

Sabine’s areas of expertise include working with BIPOC folks, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals who were formerly incarcerated, survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, and supporting clients in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, and substance use struggles.

Sabine earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, where she honed her clinical skills and gained a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma on individuals and communities. She is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Use Counselor (CASAC), providing her with the tools to effectively support clients who may be struggling with addiction.

To further support her clients who have experienced trauma, Sabine has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Reprocessing Therapy (CPT). With these evidence-based techniques, she is able to help clients process and work through traumatic experiences, allowing them to move forward with increased resilience and hope.

In addition to her clinical work, Sabine is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health. She is a lifelong learner and brings this passion for knowledge to her work with clients, continually seeking new and innovative ways to support their growth and healing.
