Davonte Woodton

Davonte Woodton (Pronouns: he/him/his) is a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience providing individual, couple, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. While working at an inpatient psychiatric unit, Davonte provided care to patients struggling with, but not limited to depression, anxiety, bullying and adjustment disorders. He specializes in working with individuals and families identifying as BIPOC and as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and a Person-Centered Approach to meeting clients where they are. Together, effective coping skills and strategies to combat daily struggles will be developed. Davonte is available to see clients virtually and in-person.

 

Davonte received his Masters of Social Work degree from Fordham University, and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College.
